Molecular Biotechnology (WBBB-0141-2SO)

(in Polish: Biotechnologia molekularna, stacjonarne drugiego stopnia)
full-time, 2 years
Language: Polish

Qualification awarded:

(in Polish) Magisterium na biotechnologii

Access to further studies:

education in doctoral school, postgraduate programmes

Professional status:

Graduate (M.Sc.) studies provide students with good knowledge on the theoretical base of science (including mathematics physics and chemistry) and comprehensive knowledge of biological processes occurring on molecular and cellular level. Theoretical background and experience in current laboratory techniques used in molecular biology and proteomics allow graduates of these studies to undertake jobs related to genetic modification and biotransformation; analysis of inrcellular processes, isolation and purification of bioproducts and in the area of medical diagnostic. They are well prepared to work in search labs and, according to the chosen major, in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, agriculture and environmental protection.
