Students of the Jagiellonian University may undertake a mandatory or non-mandatory traineeship during their studies.
At the Careers Service website, students and graduates of the Jagiellonian University may find a comprehensive offer of traineeship opportunities, which may enable them to wide their knowledge and experience. In 2017, the employers published nearly 1500 traineeship offers. Students of the Jagiellonian University may also participate in the Erasmus+ Traineeships programme during their studies or after graduation (traineeships carried out by recent graduates). A traineeship abroad may be undertaken in a foreign enterprise, research and development company, non-profit organization, museum, library, hospital etc. The traineeship should be related to the candidate’s field of study and may constitute a part of a study programme (mandatory traineeship) or pave the way to gaining new skills and competencies (non-mandatory traineeship).
